Silverstar Car Wash Announces Opening Date for Third Des Moines-Area Location
DES MOINES, IOWA -- Silverstar Car Wash continues its aggressive expansion into Iowa’s capitol city when it opens its third car wash in the metro in the past three months on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024.
“Our growth in the Des Moines area has been outstanding,” says Marty Donat, Director of New Unit Growth with Silverstar Car Wash. “We continue to see enthusiastic support in Clive and Windsor Heights since opening those locations earlier this summer. We’re pumped to keep the momentum going.”
Silverstar will host a ribbon cutting at 12 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 with the Des Moines Chamber of Commerce. Free lunch will be provided Friday, Sept. 27 starting at 11 a.m., while supplies last, and stop out Saturday, Sept. 28 for free shave ice from Kona Ice starting at 12 p.m., while supplies last.
Silverstar Car Wash will provide free car washes all weekend as part of the celebration. Additionally, Grand Opening guests can enter to win tickets to see Kip Moore in concert at the Vibrant Music Hall in Waukee, Iowa on November 14, 2024.

In addition to free washes, new Unlimited Wash Pass members who sign up at the new location this weekend will enjoy a special offer that’s a first for the company: sign up for a MAX membership and lock in the monthly price at $24.99 per month for life, as long as they remain a member of the club. This membership level retails at $39.99 per month.
