Silverstar Car Wash Announces Opening Date for Second Des Moines Area Location

DES MOINES, IOWA -- Silverstar Car Wash continues its aggressive expansion across the Midwest when it opens its newest car wash in Windsor Heights this week.

Team Silverstar is putting the finishing touches on this new location, the second to open this summer, and staff is ready to get started.

“We have been welcomed so warmly into the Des Moines area,” says Marty Donat, Director of New Unit Growth with Silverstar Car Wash. “We continue to see enthusiastic support in Clive since opening our first location in the community in July. We’re pumped to bring the Silverstar experience to Windsor Heights.”

Silverstar will host a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 with the Windsor Heights Chamber of Commerce. Free lunch will be provided both Friday, Aug. 9 and Saturday, Aug. 10 starting at 11 a.m., while supplies last.

Silverstar Car Wash will provide free car washes all weekend as part of the celebration. Additionally, Grand Opening guests can enter to win tickets to see Thomas Rhett in concert at the Iowa State Fair on August 13, 2024.

In addition to free washes, new Unlimited Wash Pass members who sign up at the new location this weekend will enjoy special pricing: $10/month for the first four months of their membership. Unlimited Wash Pass memberships start at just $19.99 per month. All membership levels include free vacuums, prep towels, mat cleaners, tire inflation stations, and windshield washer fluid stations. Members can use their Unlimited Wash Pass at any of Silverstar’s more than 30 locations across the Midwest.
