A grand opening will be held Tuesday for Sioux Falls’ biggest Silverstar Car Wash yet.
At 1500 S. Minnesota Ave., formerly the site of Vern Eide, the newest Silverstar Car Wash will open its eight-lane location of drive-thru car washes on Dec. 28.
It’s the ninth location to open, so far, and is among nearly a dozen to planned in Sioux Falls, according to a press release.
The grand opening offers $1 first month unlimited membership sign-up for new customers. In addition, there’s even a first free wash for those who signup online. A percentage of all sales benefit Emily’s Hope education initiative.
Across the region, Silverstar has 15 locations in four states, with more building out. The company has over 180 employees.
It recently joined a group of car washes in partnership with an Atlanta equity group. Yet, Silverstar Car Wash plans a majority of locations in South Dakota. It is the largest chain of car washes in the tri-state area.
“With our roots in Sioux Falls, and a belief in community-first values, we’re excited to open our Minnesota Avenue location and grateful for the continued support of our neighbors making us the best car wash in the region,” said Andrea Vetos, a local general manager, in the news release.
More locations will open soon, with one off of I-29 and 12th Street and another at West 41st Street and Ellis Road.
